Pollyanna Brewing Company Introduces Boomers Beer for Boomers 2021 Season
The successful collaboration between Pollyana Brewing Company and the Schaumburg Boomers, which began in 2018, is expanding this year. The popular Pollyana Cabana beer garden, which can be found at the end of the concourse along the first base side, will now feature a crisp German-style Kölsch developed just for the ballpark.
"Pollyanna Brewing is thrilled to be partnering with the Boomers once again for the upcoming 2021 season,” said Ryan Weidner, Co-Founder, President & CEO of Pollyanna Brewing Company. “We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Boomers on crafting the Boomers Kölsch collaboration and are optimistic that baseball fans will enjoy this unique summertime offering.”
Pollyanna beers, which can be purchased at both the Cabana and other locations throughout the stadium, will also include Summerly Raspberry Wheat Ale, Lite Thinking American-style Lager/Pilsner, Lexical Gap India Pale Ale, and the Full Lemonty Golden Ale, among others.
Light in color and malt character, as is typical of this brewing style, the Boomers Kölsch rounds out the lineup, says Weidner. “Boomers Kölsch is an easy drinking, crisp German Ale brewed for refreshment and fun at the ballpark.”
Pollyanna’s award-winning craft beers are brewed right down the street in Roselle, where it is already proving popular among visitors to the local taproom. “"Boomers Kölsch can be found on tap and in 4-packs to-go right down the street at Pollyanna's Roselle taproom,” said Weidner.
